Stuttering Big Boss’s White Moonlight

Stuttering Big Boss’s White Moonlight

Chapter 70 - Chapter 70

The spring breeze was gentle.

Cheng Chu had never known that getting married could be such a tedious affair.

But all the complexity was a joyful burden.

The night was dark.

They had booked the entire seaside hotel for the wedding.

Prominent figures from the entire city were coming and going before his eyes.

All the venue decorations were personally designed by Gu Miao, from the flower arrangements to each guest's wedding favors, all carefully selected by him.

No one was more excited for this day than him.

On this spring night, pink and blue bouquets filled the entire venue, and the dazzling crystal chandeliers reflected starlight, creating a dreamy and beautiful fairy tale world.

The music flowed like a spring stream.

Gu Miao wore a sharp suit, with his hair neatly combed back. Today, he didn't wear his glasses. His dark and resolute eyes seemed to be filled with the starlight of the entire world.

He lifted his gaze and looked at the bride walking towards him from afar, his eyes turning red with emotion.

In the dreamy sea of flowers, the girl held her father's hand and walked towards him step by step, resolute and determined.

"Take good care of her." Cheng Ruohai had been in the business world for many years, but this was the first time he choked up and his eyes turned red.

Gu Miao nodded solemnly, a hint of tears shimmering in his eyes.

"I will."

He gently took her hand, and the soft touch seemed to touch his heart in an instant. His hands trembled, and for a moment he felt dazed and lost.

This was the girl he had longed for since he was seventeen.

The surroundings gradually quieted down. "Mr. Gu Miao, do you want to marry Miss Cheng Chu? Will you love her, be loyal to her, no matter if she is poor, sick, or disabled, until death."

The world seemed to shrink in an instant. He looked at the girl in front of him, his heart racing uncontrollably, feeling like everything was a dream.

The venue was quiet, and everyone's eyes were focused on the stage.

Cheng Chu couldn't help but reach out and touch the silent man in front of her.

He suddenly realized what was happening and his ears turned red in an instant.

In the hotel, the scent of perfume and the shadows of hair filled the air. The powerful and influential people gathered together, and the dazzling crystal chandeliers reflected a dazzling light.

The most prestigious people in the entire city, looking at Mr. Gu who was usually deep and cold, suddenly turned red in the eyes and trembled before finally stuttering out, "I, I, I do."

A faint chuckle rose from the audience. Gu Miao's heart twisted as he stuttered again, and it was happening at his own wedding.

Suddenly, he was transported back to the painful memories of his seventeen-year-old self, standing alone on the podium, surrounded by piercing and mocking laughter.

Suddenly, he felt a gentle pinch on his hand.

Looking up, he saw a pair of bright and clear peach blossom eyes, blooming with unreserved love like the flowers on a spring night.

His stiff heart softened in an instant.

The girl blinked her eyes lightly, and stars twinkled in her watery eyes.

"Look at the audience," she whispered softly.

He followed her gaze and looked down at the audience.

Pairs of eyes filled with kindness and blessings shimmered in the dazzling lights of the venue, like gentle waves of spring.

It was different from when he was seventeen. The spring night was warm, and he felt all the years of pain and fear dissipate like scattered mist in the bright and dazzling sunlight.

In an instant, his throat choked up, and he could no longer speak.

Luckily, he didn't need to speak for the next part.

"Now the groom may kiss the bride."

He leaned down and, with great tenderness, kissed the girl he had loved for so long.

It turned out that even heaven favored him.

The past pains were eventually erased by the passage of time, and those crazy longings finally came to him.

The night was dark, and the guests were all enjoying themselves.

When Cheng Chu and Gu Miao returned home, it was already very late.

She was still wearing her wedding dress, and Gu Miao bent down to hold up her train.

"I'm going to take a shower first," Cheng Chu rubbed her sore shoulders.

The night was deep, and tonight was their wedding night. Gu Miao had been drinking heavily today, and his usually reserved and silent eyes were now hazy as he stared straight at her.

He rarely showed such naked emotion in his pitch-black eyes, which seemed to be burning with a fierce flame that set Cheng Chu's heart ablaze.

But the girl was always passionate and proactive, and the two of them were like ice and fire.

Now that fire had melted the ice into scorching water.

The room was silent.

Cheng Chu raised an eyebrow and lowered her voice, "Why don't you help me take off my wedding dress?"

She turned around, revealing her snow-white back.

The girl's skin was as lustrous as jade under the lamp light, as if a slight touch would leave an imprint.

The alcohol seemed to have clouded the man's mind, as his face and neck turned red, whether from the alcohol or from shyness, she couldn't tell. Without hesitation, he walked forward, but his trembling hands betrayed his nervousness.

"Hurry up," the girl pouted, her soft voice like honey on a spring night.

The man's heart melted at her words, and his shaking hands slowly grasped the zipper.

The dim lighting made the expanse of white seem like winter snow, with a cold and intoxicating fragrance that made Gu Miao's heart tremble.

"Chuchu," he hoarsely called out the girl's name.

"Hmm?" She turned around, biting her lip, her slightly upturned peach blossom eyes sparkling.

He could no longer contain his explosive desire, and suddenly lowered his head, kissing those glistening lips. Everything around them became hazy. They both indulged in a colorful and dreamy world, like intertwined vines, leaning tightly against each other.

The air was hot and humid, mixed with the heat of their bodies.

"I can't, I haven't showered yet," the girl gasped.

The man lay on top of her, his eyes filled with a wild and addictive passion. He picked up the girl and walked towards the bathroom.

"Click." The door closed.

In the sound of dripping water, the man's suppressed voice was heard: "Let's shower together."

The night was dark, and the moon tonight seemed to be shy, hiding behind the clouds for a long time without daring to come out.

Not long after the wedding, the two embarked on their honeymoon. The temperature in Greece in April was pleasant. Walking on the island of Santorini, the blue and white buildings against the vast sea made it feel like entering a fairy tale world.

The two of them were enjoying dinner on the terrace of a restaurant, blowing in the sea breeze.

The evening sea was sprinkled with silver light, with no moon in sight. The crimson sunset covered the entire sky.

In the center of the terrace, there were many musical instruments, and a small concert would be held in the evening.

After dessert, the music accompanied the gradually fading sunset, flowing slowly.

Cheng Chu leaned her head on her hand, and a few strands of hair were blown by the sea breeze. The girl's smooth and delicate face was hidden in the light and shadow, revealing an indescribable beauty.

Gu Miao suddenly wanted to kiss her.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" The girl's eyes formed a crescent shape, and she quietly traced the man's hand with her index finger, asking knowingly. His Adam's apple bobbed as he shook his head.

"Are you sure everything's okay?" She tilted her head and smiled innocently.

The tingling sensation on the back of his hand seemed to spread slowly to his heart and throughout his body.

He stood up and sat next to the girl, unable to resist the desire in his heart. He lowered his head and kissed her dangerously tempting lips.

The stars twinkled and dotted the sea.

As the music gradually faded, he also stopped his fiery and passionate kiss.

The girl's face turned slightly red as she looked around and pursed her lips, relieved that no one was looking their way.

The performance on stage had ended, and someone with a microphone asked in English, "Who wants to perform on stage?"

Cheng Chu lightly chuckled, her dimples filled with sweetness.

"I have a gift for you." She leaned in close to the man's ear and whispered in a breathy voice.

His fingertips trembled slightly. "What is it?"

The girl stood up and smiled mysteriously at him, adjusting her glamorous big wavy hair before walking towards the stage.

The surroundings were silent, as if one could hear the sound of waves crashing in the distance.

Finally, she stopped in front of the piano, adjusted her dress, and sat down slowly.

Applause erupted from the audience.

She waved towards Gu Miao's direction and spoke into the microphone, "For my husband."

A spotlight shone on the girl, illuminating her surroundings.

In that moment, she was the most dazzling existence in the entire world.

The piano music accompanied by the sound of waves was like the gentle and warm breeze of Santorini in April, slowly rippling out.

Gu Miao's heart skipped a beat.

It was Chopin's "Nocturne."

The girl on stage played with great concentration. Gu Miao's gaze passed through the layers of people and slowly fell on her. Suddenly, he remembered that night in his second year of high school. The girl was playing this piano piece in the music room just for him.

The winter night in the city was cold and lonely, but on that day, infatuation and delusion sprouted in his heart.

Accompanied by the gentle piano sound, his gaze was hidden in the twinkling stars and gradually softened.

The piano music gradually stopped.

There was silence in the room.

People were immersed in the soft and compassionate piano music, and it took a few seconds for them to react.

A tide of applause surged. Cheng Chu looked at the man below the stage and suddenly felt that this was the most beautiful and best concert of her life.

The small island was quiet at night.

The two walked hand in hand on the path, and a faint floral fragrance drifted around them.

The man's hand was a little hot, as if burning with the passionate emotions in his heart.

Cheng Chu asked, "Do you know when I fell in love with you?" The man lowered his gaze and met her sparkling eyes, shaking his head in confusion.

He never knew, nor did he ever think that there was anything about him that she could like.

She was the moon in many people's hearts, yet she chose the dimmest star.

The night was gentle, even the salty sea breeze felt warm.

The girl looked up, her clear eyes only reflecting his figure.

"Because I feel like you only see the good in me, and will always tolerate my flaws, my arrogance, and my irrationality."

Even if I am as dull as a star in my past life, you are willing to find me, protect me, and never give up on me.

The trees on the street made a slight rustling sound in the night wind.

Gu Miao lowered his gaze.

The streetlights seemed to make the world a gentler place. He looked at the girl and suddenly realized that he had loved her for a long, long time.

Maybe even for two lifetimes.

The author has something to say:

Gu Miao: Was I also with her in my past life?
