Chapter 193 - Chapter 184 Part 2

"Miss is really generous!" Ling Shu praised without hesitation.

Miss You took out a banknote from her handbag and put it on his tray.

This was not the money for the cookies, but a tip.

Ling Shu's smile became even brighter, and he bowed slightly.

"Wish you both a wonderful afternoon." He picked up the tray with the tip and turned to leave.

Almost at the same time, Yue Dingtang stood up without hesitation and grabbed his arm.

Ling Shu turned around, looking surprised. "Sir, what is this?"

Yue Dingtang's face darkened. "Stop it."

Ling Shu asked, "Huh?"

Yue Dingtang repeated, "Stop it, go home."

Ling Shu smiled ambiguously, "You're not even married yet, so what home are you talking about?"

Miss You was very surprised, looking at Yue Dingtang and then at Ling Shu, feeling that there seemed to be a situation between the two that she couldn't understand.

Yue Dingtang was at a loss for words, and Ling Shu wanted to him to let go, but he refused to do so. The two of them were in a stalemate, attracting the attention of many onlookers.

The café owner thought that Ling Shu had offended someone and hurried over to try to smooth things over.

Unexpectedly, Ling Shu reached out and grabbed Yue Dingtang's collar, pulling him closer to himself.

"Yue Dingtang, you may have a stable family, but don't think that I can't do anything without you. If you dare to betray me today, I will make you regret it tomorrow! Come with me!"

Yue Dingtang furrowed his brow, unwilling to engage in a struggle with him. Naturally, he was dragged forward by the other person, and the two of them left the coffee shop under the stunned gaze of onlookers.

"Yue Dingtang, you scoundrel! You're a teacher, a role model, and yet you're so hypocritical! I must have been blind!"

"Are you like this in front of your students too? Dressed in fine clothes, but actually a beast!"

Ling Shu continued to curse as they walked, and Yue Dingtang finally couldn't take it anymore.

He directly pushed away Ling Shu's hand and pressed him against the wall.

"Have you had enough?!" Yue Dingtang's face was as dark as a storm cloud. "Let's talk about this when we get back. What are you doing causing a scene here?!"

The two of them locked eyes, as if they had never been so unfamiliar with each other before.

They were so close, yet so far apart.

Yue Dingtang looked at him, with a thousand words on his lips, but no way to express them.

To outsiders, it may seem like two close friends on the verge of falling out, or perhaps there are other disputes between them.

Unfortunately, they had a public falling out.

"Don't turn around. There's someone tailing you at eight o'clock behind you. Since you were at the café earlier, this person has been walking around outside, observing the café from various angles. Their gaze has hardly left you two!"

When the two were close enough, Ling Shu suddenly spoke, softly and quickly.

But Yue Dingtang heard him clearly.

Unlike inside, where there were many people watching from close range, it was difficult to have any private conversations.

Now that there was no one around them, he could ensure that only Yue Dingtang heard his words.

"I know, Miss You also knows."

Yue Dingtang replied in the same volume, then spoke again in a higher and more impatient tone.

"Unreasonable! I don't feel like talking to you anymore. Just because your father and mine were friends doesn't mean I have to tolerate you!"

With these words, Yue Dingtang shook off his hand and walked away with big strides.

Ling Shu raised his eyebrows, realizing that there was a lot of information in that statement.

But since the play had already begun, he had to keep acting.

Ling Shu's face twisted with anger as he reached out to grab Yue Dingtang, but failed. He turned around and vented his frustration on the growing crowd of onlookers.

"What are you looking at? Have you never seen people argue before?!"

He looked through the crowd and spotted the person who had been following them.

Seeing that the two had separated and Yue Dingtang was leaving, the person quickly abandoned Ling Shu and chased after Yue Dingtang.
