Chapter 67 - Chapter 67

"That's not it," Gu Fei quickly replied.

He didn't mind, although Gu Fei felt that doing something like biting a tooth mark on someone else's body before getting a tattoo was not something Jiang Cheng would come up with. But if Jiang Cheng was willing, he had no objections.

It's just...tattoos are not like other things. It's leaving someone else's mark on your own body. Even if it could be washed off later, it would never be completely without a trace.

Maybe Jiang Cheng hadn't even considered this point. If one day, they broke up and weren't together anymore, what would they do with this mark on their body?

A mark that only existed during a brief moment in your past, leaving a permanent imprint on you. Jiang Cheng probably hadn't thought about this.

"Then what were you thinking about for so long?" Jiang Cheng stared at him.

"I was just thinking..." Gu Fei hesitated for a while, "Wouldn't it be a bit silly."

"It's not on your face, it's somewhere no one else can see, only the two of us can..." Jiang Cheng said halfway and then stopped, frowning as he thought for a long time, and finally laughed, "Yeah it's pretty fucking stupid."

Gu Fei smiled without saying anything.

"Stupid is stupid," Jiang Cheng waved his hand, "Actually I wouldn't have done this kind of stupid thing before. It's just...being with you, I got infected."

"You dare say I infected you?" Gu Fei looked at him.

"I dare," Jiang Cheng put his hands in his pockets, "Forget it, let me think about it some more, come up with a less stupid way. The tooth mark was just a spur of the moment idea."

"Okay." Gu Fei nodded.

"I just want to leave something of mine on you, make a mark." Jiang Cheng said.

"Why don't you just piss on my leg then." Gu Fei said.

"...Fuck off!" Jiang Cheng glared at him.

Someone honked across the street. Jiang Cheng looked over following the sound, and saw a motorcycle make a U-turn and stop next to them.

Li Yan took off his helmet.

"Er Miao really liked these cookies last time, she'll probably like them a lot," Li Yan took a bag hanging on his handlebars and handed it to Gu Fei, "There's some other stuff too, if she doesn't like it you guys can have it."

"Okay," Gu Fei took the bag and glanced inside, "Quite a lot."

"There's two boxes of durian puffs, one for each of you," Li Yan looked at Jiang Cheng, "You probably haven't had it before, it's super incredibly delicious."

"Oh." Jiang Cheng almost didn't understand what he was saying.

"It's just the shop is so far, I have to work myself up to go there. When I do go I bring some back for everyone," Li Yan said, "This time I got some for you too, give it a try."

"Thanks." Jiang Cheng was suddenly feeling hungry. He took out a box of durian puffs from the bag, opened it and ate one directly.

"How is it?" Li Yan immediately asked.

"Hmm," Jiang Cheng nodded, it really was delicious, he felt like his teeth sank into the flaky crust as soon as he bit down, soft and tasty, "Super ultra delicious."

After chatting for a bit, Li Yan left, saying he had plans to drink. As he was leaving, he added: "You guys continue."

As Jiang Cheng ate, it took him a while to remember what he had been talking to Gu Fei about before.

That tooth mark tattoo.

But he didn't continue on that topic. One reason was that the tattoo really was silly. Another reason was...after eating three durian puffs he slowly calmed down.

Ever since entering Li Baoguo's home, his mind had felt chaotic. Seeing Gu Fei so suddenly after coming out made him feel dizzy from excessive comfort.

Only now did he come back to his senses. He thought back to Gu Fei's reaction.

Gu Fei's reaction...Gu Fei was clearly taken aback, it definitely wasn't like he said, too silly? If he really thought it was too silly, he would have immediately retorted, there was no need to be stunned.

"Do you want to eat anything else?" Gu Fei said, "Just one bowl of cold noodles isn't very filling, want to eat more?"

"Right now," Jiang Cheng said, "I said I'm full but I'm feeling like eating more, but when I think about what exactly, I don't seem to be hungry enough to decide."

"Why don't..." Gu Fei thought for a moment, "we go to the shop, I'll make you something to eat."

"Okay." Jiang Cheng agreed.

He really didn't know what he wanted to eat right now. Being at Li Baoguo's didn't give him the sense of relaxation that should come after resolving some issue, he didn't have much of an appetite.

But he did feel more comfortable wanting to spend some time with Gu Fei, it's just...Gu Fei's reaction earlier made him feel not so great.

It wasn't until they entered the shop and Gu Fei went to the back kitchen to prepare food that he followed and asked: "You actually..."

Gu Fei was holding some eggs and looked at him: "What?"

"You were actually thinking that if we break up in the future, having my tooth mark left on you wouldn't be appropriate," Jiang Cheng looked at him, "Right?"

Gu Fei was stunned for a moment: "No."

"That thing can be washed off," Jiang Cheng said, "You don't need to worry about this...forget it, pretend I didn't say anything, it really was fucking stupid to begin with."

Jiang Cheng turned around and went back to the shop front, sitting behind the counter as he took out his phone and scrolled around aimlessly.

"I didn't think that." Gu Fei said, still holding the eggs as he came over too, putting the eggs down one by one on the counter.

"Didn't think what?" Jiang Cheng looked at him, "Didn't think it was really stupid?"

"I did think it was stupid," Gu Fei said, "But I didn't think about whether leaving your tooth mark would be appropriate or not if we broke up in the future."

"Gu Fei," Jiang Cheng tsked, "Do you think I'm..."

"Let's get the tooth mark tattoo," Gu Fei interrupted him, "Li Yan knows a great tattoo artist."

"No need," Jiang Cheng frowned, feeling like he was the unreasonable child and Gu Fei had to coax him, "I was just saying it randomly."

"I'll call him and ask him to set up a time." Gu Fei said.

"Fuck," Jiang Cheng looked at him, "I said I don't want to do it anymore, it's meaningless, it's not like I was forcing you to do anything, I just wanted to..."

"I said, we're getting the tooth mark tattoo!" Gu Fei slapped the counter, leaning over until he was right in front of his face, voice lowered but fierce, "I'm forcing you now."

"What the fuck?" Jiang Cheng was startled by his manner.

"Tooth mark." Gu Fei stared at him.

"Huh?" Jiang Cheng gaped at him, "What about the tooth mark?"

"Where's a good place to bite?" Gu Fei asked.

Jiang Cheng looked at him silently for a while, before finally unable to hold in his laughter: "Gu Fei you crazy bastard, are you sick in the head?"

"Yes or no?" Gu Fei asked again.

"Yes." Jiang Cheng nodded.

"I'll call Li Yan later," Gu Fei straightened up, arranging the eggs on the counter in a row, "One, two, three, four, five, enough?"

"I can't eat five eggs," Jiang Cheng looked at the eggs, "Too much protein would be toxic."

"There's mine too." Gu Fei said.

"Oh," Jiang Cheng looked at the eggs, then looked at him, and finally glanced down towards his crotch, picking up two similarly sized eggs in his hands, "These two?"

Gu Fei paused for a moment before reacting, smiling with narrowed eyes: "Those aren't the same size as mine, are you mixing me up with someone else in your memory?"

"Fuck off!" Jiang Cheng scolded, and as Gu Fei walked towards the kitchen holding the eggs, he added, "You believe I'll bite your eggs and leave a tooth mark!"

"I believe," Gu Fei looked back, "Then you wouldn't mind when the tattoo artist is holding my eggs during the tattoo..."

"Let's fight." Jiang Cheng threw down his phone and stood up, "Gotta fight it out today."

Gu Fei just laughed as he closed the back door into the kitchen.

Jiang Cheng had originally felt he lacked appetite, but after Gu Fei suddenly "forced" him to get the tooth mark tattoo, he started feeling hungry again.

In fact, he didn't have any obsession with getting a tooth mark tattoo. The reason he thought of a tattoo was because he had never been allowed to do anything like that. Not just a tattoo, even when Pan Zhi gave him a stone pendant, Shen Yiqing would not let him wear it around his neck, and almost made him return the item to Pan Zhi.

Gu Fei was willing to do something so silly together with him, of course he would be very happy. But what really stimulated his appetite was that sentence "I didn't think that."

Sometimes people are just strange like this, so easily satisfied. No need for proof, no need for logic, just hearing the other person say that one sentence, unfounded as it may be, could still feel pleasant.

Gu Fei quickly made some food, five fried eggs, and a small bowl of fermented rice soup balls, smelling very tasty.

"Here, these are my eggs," Gu Fei used chopsticks to take out two attached eggs and put them in Jiang Cheng's bowl, "Eat them."

"Okay," Jiang Cheng also put two eggs in his bowl, "These are my eggs, eat slowly."

"Okay." Gu Fei smiled.

"Whose egg is this?" Jiang Cheng pointed at the one remaining.

"The chicken's." Gu Fei said.

Jiang Cheng was stunned for a moment, then burst out laughing, nearly dropping the bowl in his hand: "Gu Fei, sometimes you're pretty cute."

"Only sometimes?" Gu Fei looked at him.

"It's already a miracle that I can even call you cute," Jiang Cheng said, "Know how to be content."

"Got it." Gu Fei seriously nodded.

About the tooth mark, Gu Fei decided not to think more about it. He even decided that in the future, for things Jiang Cheng didn't think too much about, he wouldn't think too much either.

Since Jiang Cheng wanted to bite a tooth mark, then just bite it. As for whether it would be washed off in the future, and if it could be washed off...whatever, he wouldn't think about it anymore if Jiang Cheng wasn't thinking about it right now.

And he even said stupidity was infectious, who infected who was unclear.

When calling Li Yan to ask him to help set up an appointment with the tattoo artist, Li Yan's reaction was quite calm: "You? Who else?"

"Jiang Cheng." Gu Fei said.

"Oh," Li Yan responded, "You two are seriously sick."

"Spare me the diagnosis," Gu Fei said, "Just help set it up."

"You haven't been there right, should I take you guys over?" Li Yan asked.

"No need." Gu Fei decisively declined.

"It's in a place you're ashamed to show people?" Li Yan asked again.

"Yes." Gu Fei smiled.

"I'll look for a chance to see it in the future," Li Yan tsked, "Summer's already here anyway."

The tattoo artist Li Yan knew had a very high-end studio that supposedly didn't accept outside customers. Customers mainly came through referrals. Li Yan had gotten a corgi butt tattooed on his lower back before, Gu Fei had seen it, the effect was pretty good, even the cake-like shape of the corgi butt was shown.

But Gu Fei didn't have any ideas about where on himself or Jiang Cheng this silly tooth mark should be bitten. It wasn't that he lacked ideas, mainly that Jiang Cheng had first said it should be a location that only they could see. So whenever he thought about the location, he couldn't help but think too much, the ups and downs weren't good for the body.

But Jiang Cheng had already decided, on the ride to the studio he leaned in and whispered by Gu Fei's ear.

"On my thigh," Jiang Cheng shook his leg, "The inside."

"Fuck," Gu Fei laughed, "Don't I have to be lying on your crotch..."

"Yell it, yell louder," Jiang Cheng glared at him, "Let this whole carful of people hear it to complete the mission."

"The position I have to bite you in really isn't very civilized." Gu Fei lowered his voice and said.

"If I could bite myself I wouldn't be asking you to do it." Jiang Cheng said.

Gu Fei turned his head towards the window and laughed for a while. Then he turned back and quietly asked: "Then where are you biting me? Do you have to be lying on my crotch?"

"Collarbone," Jiang Cheng looked around, they were sitting in the last row, no one was paying attention to them. He used a finger to pull open Gu Fei's collar, and gently tapped his left collarbone, "Right here."

Gu Fei grabbed his hand and pressed it onto his own thigh: "Have some restraint."

"What restraint, pretending for what," Jiang Cheng laughed, "Is there anywhere left on your body I haven't touched?"

"Then come on, come on," Gu Fei grabbed his hand and shifted it towards his own crotch, whispering, "Anyway you touch here once every day..."

Jiang Cheng was startled and swiftly retracted his hand: "Fuck off!"

This studio was located in a rather nice looking compound in the most luxurious new district of this rundown city. The elevator went straight to the 9th floor. The door had a black wooden signboard, with nothing written on it except three white dots.

"Is this studio called Three Dots?" Jiang Cheng asked.

"Don't know, I only know the boss's surname is Lu," Gu Fei held in his laugh as he rang the doorbell, "We can ask later."

The door opened swiftly, the boss himself opened it. This boss looked much more sunny than the studio decorated all over in black.

"Li Yan said I have to do this personally for you two," Boss Lu poured them tea, "So I didn't call my assistant over. But with just me it'll take a little longer."

"No problem," Jiang Cheng said, "The key is doing it beautifully."

"You can trust me on that, I've been doing tattoos for so many years," Boss Lu said, then suddenly walked up to them and took off his t-shirt in one swift move, "Look."

"Whoa!" Jiang Cheng recoiled back in shock before seeing that the man wanted to show off the tattoos covering every inch of his body from head to toe without a sliver of bare skin left.

"Very cool." Gu Fei made a truly sincere sound of admiration.

Although it looked quite insane, the motifs and everything were exquisitely beautiful, with a strong artistic sense.

After Boss Lu put his clothes back on: "The ones on my back were done by my assistant. The ones I can reach myself I did myself. Don't worry, just the small design you want, no problem...Have you decided what design and where you want it?"

"...A tooth mark," Jiang Cheng answered then stopped, suddenly realizing he didn't know how to say this was from mutually biting each other, "It's just..."

"You two are biting each other?" Boss Lu asked directly.

Jiang Cheng instantly felt unable to answer.

"Yes," Gu Fei replied, "Mine first, on the collarbone okay?"

"Okay, it'll hurt a bit there, the skin is thin," Boss Lu reached out and pulled open Gu Fei's collar, looking back at Jiang Cheng, "And you?"

"...Here." Jiang Cheng really wanted to slap his hand away, but considering this was needed for his work, he could only grit his teeth and point.

"When you bite," Boss Lu also pointed at Gu Fei's collarbone, "Go a little towards the shoulder, or the mark won't be complete, his collarbone is quite sharp."

"Okay." Jiang Cheng nodded.

Boss Lu had likely seen all sorts of things, he reacted completely normally to two men wanting to bite each other and leaving tooth marks, as if people bit each other on the streets every day.

He even considerately let them first go to the side room to prepare.

"Take it off." Jiang Cheng stood with arms crossed in front of Gu Fei.

"...What a scene." Gu Fei smiled and took his clothes off.

"I'll bite now?" Jiang Cheng held his shoulders, looking left and right to gauge the angle, "Right here."

"You can bite down hard, get it done in one go, otherwise if you bite twice it won't work," Gu Fei tilted his head back.

"Mm," Jiang Cheng nodded.

"Alright, bite," Gu Fei said.

Jiang Cheng gripped his shoulder and fiercely bit down on his collarbone.

"Ah--!" Gu Fei cried out, extremely loud and genuine without any artifice, purely a sound of pain.

"Gu Fei," Jiang Cheng released his mouth and said lowly by his ear, "I know what you're thinking. Even if we're not together in the future, I want to leave a mark on you. No matter who sees it, they'll know you're mine. That's just how unreasonable we top students are."
