Lian Jun led Shi Jin to the bathroom.
"Take a shower and change your wet clothes," Lian Jun instructed.
Shi Jin obediently followed, taking off his wet clothes. He hesitated for a moment when he saw that Lian Jun had no intention of leaving. "You should wait outside. You'll get wet from the steam, and you need to change out of the clothes that I've soaked," he said.
Suddenly, Lian Jun stood up from his wheelchair, removed his belt, and took off his clothes. He pushed Shi Jin against the showerhead and turned on the water.
The water poured down on them, cold at first but gradually warming up. As Shi Jin leaned against the cold wall, he felt the warmth of Lian Jun's body in front of him. He was completely enveloped in Lian Jun's embrace, unable to help but hold his breath.
His gaze fell upon Lian Jun's pale face, meeting his still angry and brooding eyes. Shi Jin's heart trembled and he quickly lowered his gaze, instinctively following the more prominent line of Lian Jun's now thinner jaw, down towards his body.
"Don't look," Lian Jun suddenly raised his hand to cover Shi Jin's eyes and said, "It's doesn't look good, don't look."
Shi Jin felt sad upon hearing this and reached out to hug him, saying, "No, you will always be the most handsome to me."
As Lian Jun stepped back to avoid his hand, he took a glance at his skeletal body and closed his eyes tightly, covering the hand that was stinging from his touch. Suddenly, he flipped him over with force, pressing one hand against his back to prevent him from turning around, and used the other hand to unhook his long robe's belt. He then stood up straight and tied the belt around his eyes.
"Lian Jun?" Shi Jin was a bit confused.
"Just stay like this and don't move," Lian Jun held him down and hugged him from behind, resting his forehead on his shoulder. "Don't look at me, and don't touch me. Just stay here with me for a while, okay?"
The body pressed against his back was cold, and the touch was all bones. Shi Jin felt a dull pain in his heart, so he tightened his hand and forced himself not to respond to the embrace.
He turned his head towards the wall and replied, "Okay...I won't look at you." The water flowed down with a gurgling sound, and the room slowly filled with mist.
"Umm." Shi Jin suddenly let out a low groan and reflexively struggled.
"Don't move." Lian Jun held him down. "Let me take a good look at you."
Shi Jin tried to stay still, feeling Lian Jun's wandering hands on his body. His breathing became more and more erratic - what kind of "look" was this? Who uses their hands to look at someone...
But Lian Jun was indeed looking at him, observing his restrained expression, his excited demeanor, and his reddened skin from desire... He was still alive.
Lian Jun hugged Shi Jin tightly, feeling his higher-than-usual body temperature, listening to his rapid breathing. He slid down slightly and pressed against Shi Jin's back, capturing his faster-than-usual heartbeat. His heart, which had been hanging in suspense, finally landed on solid ground.
He was still alive.
"Don't run around anymore." His hand around Shi Jin's waist tightened inch by inch, wishing he could just embed him into his own body. After a while, he suddenly stood up straight, turned his head, and bit down hard on Shi Jin's neck.
Shi Jin's body trembled, then suddenly relaxed, leaning heavily against the wall and breathing heavily.
The rushing water quickly washed away all traces. Lian Jun released his teeth, gently licking the mark he had bitten on Shi Jin's neck, pulling his body away from the wall and pressing him into his arms.
"You're always so disobedient." He said, soothingly kissing Shi Jin's tense and then relaxed shoulders, his voice barely audible, "I have to make you behave."
......
Shi Jin was locked in the bedroom by Lian Jun, not allowed to see anyone or go out. His phone and tablet were confiscated, and the only entertainment he could have was sitting by the window and admiring the scenery. The only two people he could see were Lian Jun and Uncle Long.
Lian Jun didn't share a room with him, but he came to accompany him for meals every day, and then... touched him.
Some embarrassing memories emerged from the depths of his mind, and Shi Jin shook his head vigorously to shake off those memories. He lowered his head and pulled open his pajamas to look at the various marks on his body, covering his face in despair.
He knew Lian Jun was very angry this time, and he was willing to be punished, but... doing this three times a day, he would eventually have kidney problems. And every time, he was the only one getting excited, while Lian Jun always remained calm and composed, not allowing him to touch him back.
This was unfair! Although Uncle Long said that Lian Jun's body was not suitable for doing anything, a kiss should be okay... But Lian Jun didn't allow him to kiss, or rather, Lian Jun didn't allow him to do anything except for letting him be touched obediently.
"He's still angry," Shi Jin rubbed his face hard, feeling very distressed. Lian Jun had never been this angry before, and he didn't know how to comfort him.
Xiao Si suddenly spoke up, his voice sounding pitiful, "Jin Jin, why do you lock me up in the small dark room every time Baby comes these days? You only let me out after Baby leaves. Are you two fighting behind my back? Every time Baby leaves, your eyes are red and you look so weak. Are you secretly crying without me knowing? Is Baby bullying you... wuwuwu, please don't fight, I'm scared..."
Shi Jin felt embarrassed and awkward, and quickly explained, "No, Lian Jun and I didn't have a fight, and he didn't bully me...well, it wasn't really bullying. Don't cry, we're actually doing well, really."
"Really?" Xiao Si pitifully confirmed.
Shi Jin replied dryly, "Yeah...I guess."
After speaking, he felt dejected inside.
In reality, things weren't good at all. Although Lian Jun would come to visit him and be close to him, he hardly spoke to him and always had a blank expression on his face, with a heavy look in his eyes.
It was clear that he was holding back his anger.
Despite seeing each other every day, he had no idea how Lian Jun was doing physically. Uncle Long had come specifically to update him on Lian Jun's condition, but his medical jargon made it difficult to understand. All he knew was that Lian Jun was no longer in isolation and was slowly recovering. He didn't even know if Lian Jun was eating properly.
Although Lian Jun had been eating with him these past few days, he only kept him company and never touched his chopsticks, claiming to have eaten before coming. He was curious about what Lian Jun ate every day, how much he ate, and if he felt nauseous afterwards. He wanted to nap with him, share his workload, and stay by his side at night to make sure he slept soundly.
"How exactly is his body doing?" Shi Jin lay on his side, burying his head in the covers and hitting his pillow in frustration.
Click.
The sound of the doorknob turning made Shi Jin pause his pillow-hitting, hesitating for a moment before deciding not to get up and greet Lian Jun as usual. Instead, he remained lying on his side with his back to the door.
The sound of a wheelchair rolling into the room followed by the closing of the door could be heard. Then, the sound of the wheelchair starting up again...it stopped briefly near where the bed was located, before continuing on. Instead of heading towards the table as usual, it headed straight for the bed.
Shi Jin could almost imagine Lian Jun entering with a food container, seeing him lying in bed, pausing briefly before not placing the container on the table but instead coming straight to the bed.
As the footsteps drew closer, Shi Jin grew more and more nervous. Finally, just as Lian Jun was about to turn and see his face, Shi Jin timidly closed his eyes and pretended to be asleep.
The sound of the wheelchair stopped by his bed, casting a shadow over him.
Shi Jin forced himself to relax and slow his breathing, trying his best to look like he was sound asleep. He regretted not getting up to greet Lian Jun like he usually did. What if Lian Jun found out he wasn't really asleep and thought he was sulking? Shi Jin didn't know what had gotten into him, but he had just laid there without moving.
He had to make sure he looked convincingly asleep.
"Shi Jin," Lian Jun's voice sounded, soft and gentle.
Shi Jin didn't move.
The room fell silent, and Shi Jin didn't know how much time had passed. Just as he began to suspect that Lian Jun had left, a warm breath brushed against his face, followed by a gentle touch on his lips.
Hmm???
Shi Jin opened his eyes and saw Lian Jun's face just inches away. He immediately reached out and wrapped his arms around Lian Jun's neck, kissing him passionately.
Lian Jun stiffened and tried to pull away, but Shi Jin chased after him with a fierce look in his eyes. His kisses were filled with longing and desire that he couldn't express in any other way. "You kissed me first, so you can't leave," he said.
Lian Jun looked at him with a mixture of anger and longing, his fingers trembling. He finally gave in and pulled Shi Jin into his arms, returning the kiss and running his hand down Shi Jin's back.
When was the last time he felt this cherished and loved? This gentle kiss that he used to receive every day now felt so precious.
As Shi Jin flashed back in his mind, he remembered the sight of Lian Jun lying pale and weak on the bed, unable to open his eyes no matter how much he called out to him.
Shi Jin's arms tightened around Lian Jun as their kisses grew more passionate. Eventually, he felt that Lian Jun was sitting too far away, so he knelt on the edge of the bed and leaned over him. Later, he also felt that the food box on Lian Jun's lap was getting in the way, so he reached out and moved it to the bedside table. Shi Jin hugged Lian Jun and pulled him back onto the bed, causing him to fall back.
The sound of the wheelchair being pushed away echoed in the room as Shi Jin wrapped himself around Lian Jun, leaning in close to his face and continuing to kiss him messily.
"You can punish me however you want, just don't ignore me. Give me some response..." he murmured.
Lian Jun was pressed down by him, watching his anxious expression and the faintly reddened corners of his eyes. His heart softened and he closed his eyes, biting him slightly to force him to pause. He lifted himself up and asked, "Have you reflected on your actions?"
Shi Jin looked up at him with a cold and calm gaze from above, pursing his lips where he had been bitten. Suddenly, his expression turned fierce as he grabbed Lian Jun's collar and pulled him down, saying, "No! How can I reflect? I worry about whether you've eaten well, slept well, or if you're uncomfortable somewhere every day. When do I have time to reflect? Don't let Uncle Long come and placate me again. I'm really scared about your health. Why don't you tell me anything? If you're angry, you can hit me, scold me, or punish me. You know I'll worry and get anxious. Why don't you say anything? You--"
Lian Jun suddenly held his face and kissed him, silencing all his words.
Shi Jin turned his head to avoid it, but he was determined to have a good talk with him today.
"I'm sorry," Lian Jun suddenly spoke up.
Shi Jin instantly stopped all his evasive movements and looked up at him.
"It took me so long to wake up, I'm sorry," Lian Jun touched his face and asked, "Are you mad at me?"
Looking at his slightly rosy complexion from the kiss, Shi Jin felt a mix of emotions and relaxed his body, hooking his neck and taking the initiative to kiss him back. "How could I be mad...you're too cunning."
Lian Jun rubbed the hair at the back of his head and closed his eyes to return the kiss.
