Chapter 86 - Chapter 66 Part 2

"Today you..." Yan Hang started to say then stopped, seeming somewhat hesitant.

Chu Yi immediately realized: "I went back to school."

"Oh." Yan Hang glanced at him.

"My class teacher," Chu Yi hurriedly explained, "yelled at me this morning, said I was out all night."

Yan Hang clicked his tongue. "They manage you guys that strictly at some rinky-dink trade school?"

"Not rinky-dink," Chu Yi said, somewhat indignantly. "Illiterate."

"Piss off," Yan Hang laughed. He almost dropped the pizza in his hand.

"Our teacher can tell, what kind of car it is, just by the engine sound," Chu Yi said.

"What about you?" Yan Hang asked with a smile.

"I'll be able to too, in the future," Chu Yi said.

He said this extremely confidently without any hesitation. And when he said it he didn't feel embarrassed at all - this was the first time in his life he had been so fully confident.

Yan Hang didn't say anything, just looked at him and smiled for a good while.

After getting off work that night and locking up the shop, Yan Hang wanted to take him back to school but he didn't agree. He took a taxi and dropped Yan Hang off at home first before going back to school himself.

When paying the driver, he felt so distressed he wanted to beat the guy up.

The dorm building was already locked up. Following Zhou Chunyang's instructions, Chu Yi climbed up using the fire escape on the side of the building and crawled into the hallway through there.

Climbing the stairs, he discovered this fire escape was clearly seldom used, but the parts he stepped on were worn smooth without any rust at all...

At first glance you could tell it was a bustling thoroughfare with people coming and going. How could the school not have torn it down?

When he got back to the dorm room, the lights were off but there were many cell phone screens glowing.

"Chu Yi?" Hu Biao asked.

"Mm," Chu Yi responded.

"Everyone's all accounted for tonight eh," Li Ziqiang said from his bed. "Been full house all fucking night."

"That's right," Hu Biao said.

"If anyone tries spreading rumors about someone being out late," Zhang Qiang said, "I'll fucking take care of them."

Chu Yi glanced over at Su Bin's bed. He was also playing on his phone, face expressionless. The light from the screen flashed on him, making him look extremely serious - a model student hindered by the masses.

After Chu Yi washed up in the bathroom and climbed back into bed, he sent Yan Hang a message.

- I'm sleeping

- Good night puppy

- Good night little Yan

After saying good night, Chu Yi held his phone and stared at it for a long time, not knowing what he was looking at. He basically opened up Yan Hang's photo album and slowly scrolled down.

Although it was all English he didn't understand, he read it with great interest.

After finishing he opened Weibo and looked through the comments the girls left for Yan Hang.

- Pleading for a livestream

- I'm new, do I just start licking right away?

- Want to lick cute little boy

- Miss you two

- Who knows the pattern for his livestreams? Just started following recently, afraid I'll miss one if I only check once a day. Show some consideration, there's never actually been a livestream has there...

- No pattern. Disappearing for half a year or a year at a time is normal

- Can someone resolve my doubt? Have Brother Xiao Tian and puppy officially moved in together?

- Don't know, too mysterious. Right now I'm not even sure if they're a couple.

- They definitely are, who would act so innocently just for brotherly love!

- Every day I want to rip Brother Xiao Tian's mask off

- Ripping off his mask is too innocent, I want to rip the pretty boy's pants off

- Want to rip puppy's pants off

- Settle down. Puppy's still just a kid. Rip Brother Xiao Tian's first

- Annoyed. They've gained so many new followers recently. Feel like my hidden treasures are going to be snatched away by little devils.

......

Chu Yi didn't know if Yan Hang looked at these comments, but after reading through them his face turned red. The girls dared say anything. Just looking at the comments made him subconsciously want to hike up his pants.

Yan Hang probably didn't look at them. Other than playing games, he didn't spend much time on his phone. Chu Yi had always felt he was very indifferent about such things - he livestreamed whenever he wanted to, and stopped whenever he wanted.

If it were himself instead, he would probably check the comments every day and even reply to them. As someone who was friendless and lacked confidence since childhood, he couldn't compare to Yan Hang's attitude of confidence and indifference even if he was the only person left in the world.

Although he knew Yan Hang was often in low spirits, he could always endure it.

Running into someone like this in your life, that was extremely lucky.

Not only had he run into him, but they had also...

Chu Yi put his phone aside, quickly laid flat, and closed his eyes.

Don't think too much, especially don't let your thoughts run wild.

Lips, breathing, whatever... coming too fast, don't think about any of it!

You came too fast!

Who came too fast!

So what if you came fast!

Chu Yi flipped over and pulled the quilt over his head.

Yan Hang had already reassured him and given him reasonable explanations, but he still couldn't get over it that easily.

How embarrassing!

The days of Yan Hang coming to the cafe to accompany him to work soon ended, and Chu Yi started working alone at the cafe.

But after a few days of Yan Hang's training, as he stood behind the bar, he no longer had that initial panic and cluelessness.

He could make most of the coffee drinks that customers ordered. Once a customer ordered an Irish coffee, which Yan Hang hadn't taught him how to make, and just told him it was whisky mixed with coffee and not many people ordered it usually.

When he heard the customer order that, he calmly said they were out of liquor today so he couldn't make it.

He could even blatantly lie to customers so calmly now. Working really was good training.

The only unhappy thing was that Teacher Yang had warned him not to stay out overnight anymore, so other than weekends, he could only stay in the dorm.

He looked forward to the weekends.

His yearning for Yan Hang was still as strong as ever. As soon as he turned around he would start missing him. And compared to before, he felt like his longing now contained some content that made him embarrassed to think about in detail.

But when the weekend really came...he would become nervous again.

It had been three consecutive weekends where he hadn't slept well.

He simply couldn't sleep soundly.

As soon as he laid down, he would think of that day.

He always felt like he hadn't deliberately dwelled on it, and even though he had been quite drunk that day, now as soon as he closed his eyes he could recall every detail, even Yan Hang's breathing and the trails his fingertips left on his body.

This must be the so-called hunger and thirst.

He admitted that every time he thought about these things, he would become excited. Whether it was just the air in front of him, a closet door, a kettle, he would react.

Extremely standard hunger and thirst.
