Chapter 73 - Chapter 62 Part 1

Although the lights were off and he could only see Yan Hang's blurry figure, Chu Yi could still tell that Yan Hang had been out of bed for five seconds and hadn't put on his slippers yet. He kept his head down looking for shoes, and Chu Yi was worried that Yan Hang would get dizzy and face-plant on the ground if this went on any longer.

"Has your fever gone down?" he asked again.

"It has." Yan Hang finally put on his slippers after saying that, and shuffled towards the bedroom door.

"If you didn't take your temperature, how do you know it's gone down?" Chu Yi asked.

"Yeah, then why the hell are you even asking." After saying that, Yan Hang walked to the edge of the door, and then very cleanly crashed into the door frame.

"Hey!" Chu Yi was startled. He jumped up from the bed and slapped the switch on the bedside table. "Are you okay?!"

"I'm fine," Yan Hang slapped the light switch by the door almost at the same time the light came on, and the light went out again. "Why are you turning on the light, do you want to blind me?"

"Oh." Chu Yi responded.

It was indeed very glaring. Now he couldn't even see Yan Hang's shadow, only a bunch of flickering light spots in front of his eyes.

Yan Hang went into the bathroom and only let out a sigh of relief after closing the door.

Fuck.

The half of his IQ that was previously numbed by anesthesia was probably burned off by another half from the fever.

The remaining quarter of his IQ was shocked by the magical reaction that occurred after he touched Chu Yi's waist, and could no longer give the correct way to handle it.

He only needed to turn over and take a few deep breaths to pretty much recover, but he sat up instead. On top of that, the low-quality mattress that resonated with every fart actually startled Chu Yi, who slept as heavily as a pig, awake.

So he had no choice but to stand in front of the toilet.

Pee?

Although he could pee if he wanted to, since he had been lying in bed for at least two hours, there was absolutely no need to get up specifically to pee.

Then jerk off?

Sorry, it had already been scared back.

Then just stand for a bit and reflect on his sincerely stupid behavior.

He was a little confused by himself.

He wasn't surprised by his reaction, but rather a little surprised by his own persistent behavior to force a reaction out of himself.

He looked at the toilet lid.

Looking at it for a few times didn't give him any feeling, he just had to touch it again.

Feeling better now?

Actually, now that he calmed down and thought about it while facing the toilet, aside from the reaction, he was simply too concerned about Chu Yi, whom he had finally "obtained", and had to find a reason to tie down his mutt.

What if one day the mutt was lured away by other male or female dogs, and he wouldn't even have a reason to snatch it back.

Is that so?

Yan Hang frowned.

Suddenly he felt it was very funny, and laughed at the toilet for a long time.

There was a knock on the bathroom door.

Yan Hang sighed and turned his head to look at the door, "What?"

"You've been peeing for a while?" Chu Yi said outside the door.

"I haven't started peeing yet," Yan Hang said. "Go back to sleep."

"It's been five minutes and you still haven't started?" Chu Yi was stunned. "Do you have a UTI?"

"...You're quite experienced?" Yan Hang was a little helpless.

"There used to be ads downstairs from our building," Chu Yi said. "Urethritis..."

"Scram," Yan Hang said.

"Then pee slowly," Chu Yi said. "It might be because of the f-fever."

"Scram quickly!" Yan Hang yelled.

"Scram-ing." Chu Yi said.

After hearing Chu Yi's footsteps disappear, Yan Hang tugged at his pants while facing the toilet.

After yelling, he almost couldn't pee for real.

When he came out of the bathroom and went to the coffee table wanting to get some water, a voice came from the sofa, "Take your temperature."

The room was dark with the curtains drawn, and Yan Hang didn't notice there was someone on the sofa at all. This sentence scared him so much that he reflexively threw the cup in his hand.

The moment the cup left his hand, he realized it was Chu Yi's voice.

"Did it hit you?" Yan Hang hurriedly asked while going to turn on the light.

Chu Yi was sitting on the sofa, his body tilted to the side, with the cup next to him and water spilled all over the sofa.

"Did it hit you?" Yan Hang asked again.

"Ah." Chu Yi raised his arm to cover his eyes.

This "ah" sounded quite calm, and Yan Hang couldn't tell if he was responding or politely screaming in pain.

"What 'ah'?" Yan Hang said.

"It didn't hit me," Chu Yi said. "Dodged it, 100 evasion."

"You fucking," Yan Hang was speechless. He went over and slapped Chu Yi's arm twice. When Chu Yi dodged to the side, he kicked Chu Yi's butt twice. "Are you crazy, sitting here scaring people instead of sleeping?"

"Hey," Chu Yi quickly turned around and hugged his leg. "The wound, the wound."

"The wound is healed." Yan Hang said.

"How can it heal so quickly?" Chu Yi looked up at his waist, and his gaze quickly avoided it halfway up. He let go of his leg and stood up. "Be careful not to tear it."

Yan Hang looked down.

It was probably because of the underwear.

Chu Yi usually slept wearing a t-shirt and shorts, probably a habit developed from not having independent space at home, while he usually just wore underwear. Wearing a t-shirt was because of a lack of security.

It had never felt like anything before, but Chu Yi's reaction now made him a little embarrassed too.

"Go to the room and sleep." He said.

"Mm." Chu Yi turned and went into the room.

After Yan Hang lay down, he handed him the thermometer, "Sleep with it under your armpit, I'll check it for you when the time is up."

"I won't fall asleep that quickly," Yan Hang said. "I'm afraid you can't last that long."

"I won't." Chu Yi didn't lie down, just sat on the bed with the blanket covering his legs.

Yan Hang didn't say anything and sighed.

Perhaps it was because of all the tossing and turning, or maybe the fever was starting to subside, Yan Hang felt tired when he closed his eyes, and fell asleep directly before Chu Yi could report his temperature to him.

When he woke up, he felt very dizzy. He stared at the ceiling for a full two minutes before the dizziness stopped. He turned his head and looked beside him.

Chu Yi was no longer on the bed, and there was a note on the pillow.

On it was a line of Chu Yi's words, which were very neat but quite ugly.

-Your fever subsided. I went to school. I'll come over after the practical training class in the afternoon.

Yan Hang touched his phone to check the time. He had slept until 11 o'clock. He closed his eyes, carefully stretched his waist, and lay on the bed without moving, closing his eyes again.

His mind was much clearer than last night, but the events of the evening seemed like a dream and had become a bit hazy.

But...

Yan Hang, you actually did something so shameless.

"Don't go wandering around these two days," Hu Biao said, holding his lunch box. "The latest intelligence I have is that the foreign aid have found more foreign aid, and we'll probably be ambushed if we go out."

Chu Yi was a little confused. "It's not, not your business."

Those three foreign aid never even had a chance to complete their foreign aid work. The fight with 404 was also cancelled, and no one made a second appointment. If anyone was going to be in trouble, it could only be him alone.

"Are you stupid?" Li Ziqiang said. "404 is just not making any moves on the surface. The people they called in were already unhappy, and now they're taking the opportunity to make some small moves behind the scenes. They don't care if you're Brother Dog or the entire 403."

Chu Yi frowned.
