In fact, similar words had appeared since the first time Chu Yi showed up in his live stream. Every time he saw them, he didn't have any particular feeling.
But seeing it today, he suddenly felt a bit concerned.
Before, he had simply categorized these words as jokes, but now he suddenly felt an ambiguity.
A peculiar ambiguity mixed with warmth.
A very magical combination.
After Chu Yi silently put the other two food containers in the microwave to heat up, he poured the contents of the containers into bowls and looked at the camera: "That's it."
"I'm going to eat." Yan Hang turned off the live stream.
"I haven't even washed my face." Chu Yi touched his face.
"Doesn't affect your handsomeness." Yan Hang said.
Chu Yi smiled.
After washing up, Yan Hang gave more than half of the nutritional meal to him. Recently, he hadn't been eating properly, his stomach had shrunk, and he ate like a cat, getting full after a few bites.
Chu Yi, on the other hand, could still eat. Who knows how he lost those ten pounds, probably due to being sick and worrying too much.
After finishing the nutritional meal, Chu Yi checked the time. It was about time to head back to school.
"You're not taking those few clothes back to the dorm, right?" Yan Hang went into the bedroom, changed out of his pajamas, casually put on a t-shirt and came out. "Just leave them here. If you don't have enough clothes, we can buy a few more."
"Mm." Chu Yi glanced at him while cleaning up the bowls and chopsticks on the table.
It wasn't the first time Chu Yi had seen Yan Hang wearing this t-shirt. Yan Hang often wore it when he stayed at home. It was a very casual loose style, with the neckline wider than regular t-shirts, revealing Yan Hang's collarbones.
Yan Hang had really lost a lot of weight, his collarbones were even more distinct than before.
This was Chu Yi's first reaction.
But he didn't expect his second reaction to follow so closely, almost simultaneously.
So good-looking.
Sexy.
Chu Yi was very shocked.
Sexy?
What is sexy?
He even felt that before this instant, his mind didn't even have this vocabulary, yet it suddenly popped out just like that.
Yan Hang was very sexy.
He quickly carried the bowls and chopsticks into the kitchen.
After putting the bowls in the sink, he turned on the cold water faucet and splashed two handfuls of water on his face.
Now the weather was quite cold. When he splashed the cold water, he shivered.
Phew.
Much more comfortable.
He lowered his head and washed the dishes carefully.
But he was quite angry with himself, feeling that he was particularly spineless.
Not manly at all.
After washing the dishes, he walked out of the kitchen. Yan Hang was leaning on the sofa playing with his phone.
"I'm going back to school." He went to get his bag.
"Mm," Yan Hang put down his phone, "Have lunch with your dorm mates and thank them for coming to the hospital that day."
"Okay." He nodded.
"When the housekeeper comes in the evening, I'll have her make something else..." Yan Hang's words were interrupted by him before he could finish.
"I won't come over in the evening." He said.
He needed some time to calm himself down and carefully adjust his mood. Before, when he was unhappy, in a bad mood, or felt stifled, he would find a weekend to go to the riverside and space out for a day facing the river.
Every time after spacing out, when he returned to his life, he would feel much better.
Yan Hang froze for a moment, looked at him, and after a while asked: "Will you be in the dorm in the evening?"
"Mm." He responded.
"Well... alright then," Yan Hang didn't say anything else, "Take a taxi, don't ride the bus."
"Mm." He continued responding.
Yan Hang was looking at him, he could feel it. All the way until he put on his backpack and went out the door, he could still feel Yan Hang's gaze through that last little crack as he closed it.
But he never dared to look at Yan Hang.
He felt that he was too stiff, very crude, but besides this way, as someone as unsophisticated as him, he really couldn't find any other way.
He couldn't just say it to Yan Hang like that.
Depressed.
He walked out of the neighborhood with his head down, looked around, didn't notice any suspicious people, and then called a car as Yan Hang instructed.
Vexed.
That day it would have been better to just admit it to Zhou Chunyang. At least at a time like this, he would have had someone he could talk to.
Not long after the taxi drove out, his cell phone rang. It was Hu Biao calling.
"Hello?" Chu Yi answered the phone.
"Brother Dog, your time off was until yesterday right, are you coming back to school today?" Hu Biao's voice was kept quite low on the other end.
"Yes." He replied.
"Why don't you come back tomorrow instead." Hu Biao said.
"Why?" He furrowed his brow.
"404 challenged us to a fight," Hu Biao said, "Your foot isn't healed, Chunyang told me to tell you not to come back to the dorm."
Chu Yi didn't make a sound.
"Come back tomorrow," Hu Biao said, "Did you hear me?"
"With them," Chu Yi said, "don't need feet."
